12.30 - 13.10| Transformatie van de gezondheidszorg door het beschikbaar maken van gezondheidsgegevens voor betere zorg en snellere innovatie

Het ministerie van Volksgezondheid en een coalitie van zorgaanbieders en -verzekeraars werken samen aan een landelijke (realtime) data-infrastructuur voor de volksgezondheid. Deze infrastructuur ondersteunt patiënten bij het managen van hun zorg en artsen bij het leveren van de beste en meest efficiënte zorg. En creëert een ecosysteem voor het versnellen van innovatieve toepassingen. Dit is cruciaal om onze gezondheidszorg duurzaam te houden.
13.30 – 14.10|De strategie voor een goed functionerend en geïntegreerd gezondheidsinformatiestelsel

In april 2023 presenteerde de minister van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport de Nationale Visie op het gezondheidsinformatiestelsel aan de Tweede Kamer. Deze visie schetst het 'droombeeld' voor het gezondheidsinformatiestelsel tot 2035. Sinds april 2023 is er hard gewerkt om de visie te vertalen naar een strategie. Een strategie die laat zien wat er moet gebeuren om de droom van een goed functionerend en integraal georganiseerd gezondheidsinformatiestelsel te realiseren.
In deze sessie nemen we je mee door de strategie die op het punt staat gepubliceerd te worden. We gaan in op de acht overkoepelende doelstellingen die de basis vormen van de strategie. En zullen we deze doelstellingen en hun implicaties met u bespreken.

Wat betekent het voorlopig politiek akkoord over de European Health Data Space? En wat gaat de impact zijn van de EHDS voor de Nederlandse actoren in de zorgmarkt? Die vragen staan centraal in de EHDS-Meetup. Wees erbij!

12.30 - 13.10 | Transforming healthcare by making health data available for better care and faster innovation
The Dutch ministry of health and a coalition of care providers and insurers are working together to create a nationwide (real-time) public health data infrastructure. This infrastructure will support patients in managing their care and clinicians in providing the best and most efficient care. And it will create an ecosystem for accelerating innovative applications. This is crucial to keep our healthcare system sustainable.
13.30 – 14.10 | The strategy for a well-functioning and integrated health information system
In April 2023, the Dutch Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport presented to the Dutch House of Representatives the National Vision on the Health Information System. This vision outlines the 'dream image’ for the health information system until 2035. Since April 2023, a lot of hard work has been done to translate the vision into a strategy. A strategy that shows what needs to be done to achieve the dream of a well-functioning and integrally organized health information system.
In this session, we will take you through the strategy that is about to be published. We will elaborate on the eight overarching objectives that form the basis of the strategy. And we will discuss with you these objectives and their implications.

What does the preliminary political agreement on the European Health Data Space mean? And what will be the impact of the EHDS for Dutch actors in the healthcare market? These questions are central to the EHDS Meetup. Be there!
14.30 uur | The Implementation of SNOMED in the Netherlands
Terminology is an important precondition for exchanging health data. SNOMED, the international medical terminology system of and for healthcare professionals, makes this possible. Despite the recognized value of SNOMED, its implementation among Dutch healthcare providers is not optimal. Nictiz therefore wrote an advice in the form of a practical implementation strategy for achieving good SNOMED use. With this guiding advice it is now up to the field to implement SNOMED, supported by Nictiz and leaded by Netherlands Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports.
